Veronica's Strip

Veronica’s strip is a very iconic & popular area for the younger crowd, packed with neon nightclubs and lively bars with cheap alcohol and drinking games encouraging people to stay up till the early hours of the morning. The nearby Starco’s area also has a good choice of bars and clubs and it tends to be busier earlier in the evening before people make their way to the all-nighters at Veronica’s.

Families and those over 25 may prefer The Patch, where you’ll find more relaxed restaurants and pubs, or head to the Parque de la Paz strip, which is behind the Safari Shopping Centre.

Remember to take it easy though! Otherwise, you will miss the beautiful sunshine the next day if you are stuck in bed.

Six Beaches

One beach was not enough for Playa de las Americas that’s why they give the people who visit here six to choose from. Each beach has jet-skiing, scuba diving among many other water sports to choose from. The main beach is surrounded by cafes, restaurants, and kiosks too.

The most popular of the bunch is Playa de Troya, with a long stretch of golden sand & clear turquoise waters that are partially protected by the bay. Another beautiful choice is Playa del Camison, which is surrounded by palm trees and has an amazing surrounding environment and is typically quieter.

The beaches also offer a large number of boat excursions, including whale and dolphin watching cruises trips on a pirate ship and a yellow submarine. How amazing is that?!

Golf las Américas

Spend your weekends playing a relaxing game of golf. Golf las Américas offers an attractive 18 holes with a par 72. It features stunning ravines & lakes which are surrounded by an amazing backdrop of the mountains. They even have an academy for people who want to train up and increase their skills, members also benefit from the restaurant & clubhouse.

The course stretches over 6000 metres in length, with some tricky shots to be made. It'll certainly be a challenge for any Golf enthusiast to sink their teeth into. Competitions are frequently played here, for anyone who fancies themselves as a pro, The club received the honour of been voted the best golf course for tournament organisation in 2007,2008 & 2009. It has seen the likes of the Rolex National Circuit, Mercedez Benz tournament & so many more big events.
