Puerto Rico Shopping Centre

The Puerto Rico shopping centre is a great location if you want to immerse yourself in an energetic environment, ideally located only a few minutes walk from the main beach. Offering a range of stores including huge name brands such as Lacoste, with an endless amount of restaurants giving you a choice of traditional cuisine or dishes from across the globe. If you have a good appetite then this is the place to fill your belly.

It is even great for a walk around with your children, then you can visit all the little stores and buy trinkets & gifts for your friends and family.

Alternatively, you can visit the Europe Shopping Centre, which is located a little further out of the way but still only a 10-15 minute walk away. It offers a similar atmosphere with a great number of stores, so it is definitely worth visiting.

Anfi Tauro Golf Course

Who wouldn't love a game of golf on a course as beautiful as this? The 18-hole championship golf course at Anfi Tauro golf opened in 2006 and covers an area in excess of 650,000m². This Arizona-style course is highly acclaimed for its challenging and innovative course, providing you with exceptional all-day excitement.

The numerable tees on the course will speed up play and offer players of all levels a challenging and entertaining game. So no matter your party size or skill level, it is guaranteed to test you.

Anfi Tauro provides an idyllic visual backdrop consisting of lush green gardens & a panoramic coastal view, where you can enjoy an impeccably maintained course which hosted a Spanish PGA championship level test.

Playa de Amadores Beach

Playa de Amadores is the iconic beach in Puerto Rico, offering relaxing calm waters with mesmerising turquoise colours. Here's a fun fact for you, it is a man-made beach. With golden sand imported from the Sahara desert, how cool is that?! It is no wonder this beach is so popular in Gran Canaria. With water activities including jet skiing, parasailing and Banana rides, water sports enthusiasts will love Puerto Rico beach. The shoreline of Playa de Amadores is 800 meters long by 30 meters wide, so you will have enough space to enjoy your own slice of paradise.

There are hotels located overlooking the beach, so if you want to wake up with a view of it, then you can! The area also has underground parking, bus stops & taxi ranks, so there are many ways to reach Playa de Amadores with ease.

If the heat gets too much for you, there are showers located on the beach to cool you down, or alternatively, you can visit a vendor with ice-cold soft drinks or ice creams. Restaurants are not too far away from Playa de Amadores, so if you want to grab a bite to eat then you will not have to go far.

Not a fan of sand? If you love the view but not walking on the beach, then the promenade offers you the best of both worlds. You can't imagine walking along a such a stunning place with a view that is out of this world.
