Nightlife

Playa de las Americas is labeled the party capital of Tenerife, so if you are looking for a big night out, this is the place to be. Veronicas strip is a firm favourite with residents and visitors who like to party until the early hours. But Playa de Las Americas is not all partying, it's home to many upmarket bars and restaurants where you can enjoy a quieter, relaxing night.

Beaches

Playa de Las Americas is home to beautiful and very popular beaches. The most popular beach is Playa de Troya, the golden sand here is fine and waters are clear. There are plenty of sunbeds for hire and a variety of water sports available. With similar amenities to Playa de Troya, El Camison is backed by palm trees and a flat walking area where visitors can take in the unspoilt sea views without actually walking on the sand. Playa Las Vistas beach is situated between Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos, this is named one of the best beaches in Tenerife and has been awarded the European blue flag for quality. In Playa de Las Americas you will certainly be spoilt for choice of beaches.

Water Activities

At all beaches in Playa de Las Americas, you will find a wide rage of water sports for thrill seekers. Jet Skiing, parasailing and banana boating are some of the favourites. If being under the water is your thing, there are many centres for Scuba Diving and snorkeling in Playa de Las Americas, catering for all levels. With its clear waters the coast of Las Americas is the perfect place to take a look at marine life up close. You can also take a boat tour where it is highly likely that you will get to see the bottlenose Dolphin which resides in the waters between Tenerife and La Gomera.

With at least 5 shows per week visitors can visit the Flamenco show to experience the beautiful Spanish dancing with dazzling costumes and great music.

Musical Fountains

At 9pm each evening you can experience the musical dancing fountains at the Safari shopping centre. The fountains dance in sync with music from the likes of Frank sinatra, it is often commented that the atmosphere and experience is similar to Las Vegas. The top floor of the shopping centre is lined with great restaurants and bars, the fountains can be viewed from the balcony or from the bottom floor of the centre which is filled with popular and upmarket shops. This is certainly not a one time experience, and visitors can’t wait to return for a second look.

Escape room

For something different take a trip to Island Phobia, the number 1 escape room in Tenerife. You can choose from different themes and difficulty rooms such as the nightmare room and bank robbery. Each room has its own secrets and puzzles to crack. Can your team escape?
